Nutrition & Cellular Science
Understanding the biology is a useful starting point. It is different from demonstrating a benefit for a finished supplement.
NR and NAD+, in plain language
Nicotinamide riboside (NR) is related to vitamin B3 and can contribute to the body's production of NAD+. NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in reactions that help cells use energy from food. This biological role does not establish that taking a supplement will make a person feel more energetic.

A blood marker is not a clinical outcome
A 2018 randomized, placebo-controlled crossover study investigated NR supplementation in healthy middle-aged and older adults and reported increased NAD+ in blood cells. It studied an NR ingredient under specific conditions, not UPTHERE HEALTH's finished formula.
A change in a biomarker does not, by itself, establish longer life, reversed aging, relief of fatigue, or prevention or treatment of disease. Ingredient form, dose, study population, duration, and measured outcomes all matter.

Nutrition comes first
Supplements do not replace a varied diet or individualized medical care. The FDA advises people to consider potential risks and interactions and to discuss supplement use with a healthcare professional.
